An Independent
Design Laboratory
Aspekt explores how design can deepen the relationship between people and the physical world.
Working across industrial design, spatial practice, cultural experiences and research, the laboratory develops objects, environments and initiatives shaped by curiosity, material intelligence and human attention.
Rather than separating design, architecture, sound, technology and culture into distinct disciplines, Aspekt treats them as one continuous field of investigation.
Some investigations become objects.
Some become spaces.
Some become experiences.
Others evolve into long-term research initiatives.
Current research includes Acoustic Architecture, a flagship initiative examining the spatial, cultural and emotional dimensions of listening.
"Design creates culture. Culture shapes values. Values determine the future."
