Born in El Paso, Texas, USA, Renato De Leon is a freelance professional ballet/contemporary dancer. He has previously danced at the Czech National Ballet in Prague, Czech Republic, and the Polish National Ballet in Warsaw, Poland, where he performed pieces by world-renowned choreographers such as Jiri Kylian, George Balanchine, and John Neumeier. Aside from his ballet career, De Leon is also a teacher, model, actor, and DJ. He continues pursuing his communications degree from Penn State University and works in events and talent management. Wanting to combine his passion for electronic music and classical ballet, he established Ballet Sur_real with Soraya Schulthess in the summer of 2023.
